Would you like to be a volunteer at this year’s Atlanta Pride Weekend 2010?

We thank you for your interest in participating in our 2009 Atlanta Pride Weekend Volunteer Program.  We would love to have you as part of our team.
As you can imagine, Pride Weekend is a very hectic weekend and takes a tremendous amount  of planning to execute the multitude of events and activities that take place.  We are looking for dedicated volunteers to assist in this year’s event and would be very excited to have you as a part of this terrific weekend. 

1. Volunteers must be at least 18 years of age and must be willing volunteer a minimum of 10 hours during the course of the weekend.
2. Volunteers are not paid.
3. Volunteers will receive an all access VIP Pass for volunteering.
4. Volunteers will be required to attend one of our volunteer orientation sessions, which will take place on the following dates:

1. Sunday, August 16, 2010
2. Sunday, August 23, 2010 

During the orientation, you will be given an overall presentation of the weekend.  You will have an opportunity to meet some of the individuals that have worked hard to put this weekend together.  You will also receive information on the areas where volunteers are needed and/or learn the details of where you will be volunteering.  In addition, you will receive information on the Volunteer Incentive Program.

Please come prepared to take a photo for your volunteer badge.  This will allow you to gain access to the events for the weekend.  Please remember, you must attend one of these orientations to be a volunteer with us. There are no exceptions!!!
